The Mariners Team Blog

Chapter 1

Socceramma!!!

I would like to thank everyone for their participation in Socceramma today, it was a HUGE success. It feels good to have a team name. I would also like to thank our Sponsors, Lake Murray Pediatrics for providing us with our uniforms today. They are currently accepting new patients, and will be opening in the Srping-Summer of 2008. They will be located @ 448 Old Cherokee Road | Lexington, SC 29072. Check out the website for more information. Click Here

Today was a lot of fun!!!

I look forward to seeing you at practice, Tuesday, @ 6:00PM

Picturamma

Thanks to Kevin and Adrea Krick (Ryan's Parents) for providing us with these great pictures from our Socceramma event.

Does anyone else have any images they would like to add?

THE GATORS!!!

As you may know, the boys have selected a mascot. Although Mascots are only recognized by the kids, and the parents. I think, (if I may say so myself) we have picked out an excellent Mascot.

With that said...

GO GATORS!!!

Coach T.'s - Code of Conduct

I will be teaching the kids these phrases throughout the course of the season. My goal is that by the end of the season all kids will have each of the four phrases memorized. Any parental help available would be great!

  1. Respect - I will respect my coaches, my teammates and my opponents.
  2. Honesty - I will be honest with my coaches, my teammates, and my self.
  3. 100% - I will always give 100%, while on the field, during practice or a game.
  4. Positive Attitude - Win or lose, I will keep a positive, and understand that I must learn from my mistakes to become a better player.
